Below the dining room, the North East and South West branches of the river join for their final eight-mile trip to the ocean. The Forks Pool can be viewed from the peaceful ambiance of the dining room as you partake of the many culinary delights which the chef has prepared. Daily specials abound from weiner schnitzel to lobster thermidor. At the Margaree Lodge, breakfast is an opportunity to get your day off on the right footing. May we suggest a big breakfast which will keep you going while fishing on the river. The breakfast menu ranges from $ 3.95 to $ 5.95.
At the Vegetable Beginning you may start off with a Ceasar Salad, Chef's Salad, Garden Salad, Spinach Salad or Potato Skins. Our "Apitizers" include Chef's Soup du Jour, Seafood Chowder, Steamed Mussels, Solomon Gundy, Wings and Nachos El Grande.
Dinner Entrees include Wiener Schnitzel, Filet Of Chicken, New York Sirloin, Beef Stir-Fry, Spaghetti, Penne Pasta with Chicken, Fresh Grilled Halibut, Darne of Atlantic Salmon and Lobster Thermidor which range in price from $ 10.95 to $ 16.95. For those with a smaller appetite our lighter fare selections include Chicken Fingers and Fries, Breaded Fish and Chips, Highland Burger Platter, Lobster Croissant, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Steak Sandwich and Chicken Salad, which range from $ 7.25 to $ 10.95.

You may choose to have our chef charbroil your fish, chicken or steak selections to perfection or have your salmon, trout or local fish smoked in our smoker. Upon request you may also like to have our chef prepare your day's catch on the river to 1-your own personal liking.
We also, offer you our salads, appetizers and lighter fare selections in the mid-afternoon atmosphere of our lounge.
While staying with us or in the general area take in one of our "Specialty" Sunday Buffet Dinners, which vary from Bavarian, Italian, Chinese or Holiday Specials. Enjoy the feast which has been prepared for you and the culinary experience in our dining room.
